Participating in the Australian Women Writers 2012 challenge, or just interested in finding new work by Australian female authors? Got a Kindle? Then this page is for you!
Following a call out for australian female authors on the kindle, I posted a bare-bones list of the initial response. As I get time I am going through that list and adding links &c, at which point the names show up here, sorted by (deliberately-broad) genre and/or format labels.
Rather than putting up every single book by every single author, as I initially planned/hoped, for now I'm linking the cover of an author's latest Kindle release to a Kindle store search on that author. So this page is quite literally just the tip of the iceberg!
A note re geographical limitations: I apologise in advance if you come across this page, spy something you'd like to read, only to find out it's not available in your region. The authors in question are bound in this matter by contracts, territorial copyright, and a system groaning under the weight of its own history. Trust me when I say that the geographical limitation of their books frustrates and grieves the authors, too!
